Black Tuesday : Kumasi Loses Two Top Journalists

 

  

May 3, 2022, would be marked as one of the bad days in history of the ink fraternity in the Ashanti Regional capital, Kumasi.

Two top Journalists have been passed away within 24 hours.

First, a sports Journalist with New Mercury, Fred Kwaku Osei Ampadu, popularly known as Shaggy died in the early hours of May 3, 2022, after short illness.

The 39 year old has worked with Opambour’s station for almost two decades.

According to family source, he was rushed to the emergency unit of the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital this morning but never returned.

Also, a news Editor and anchor of Kumasi based Agyenkwa FM, Nana Ofosu Gyeabour a.k.a The Preaident has passed on.

He also gave up his ghost in the wee hours of Tuesday, May 3, 2022.

However th cause of their death is yet to be established.
